By submitting an advertisement to The Nursing Homes Registry website (www.nursinghomes.co.uk), you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions laid out here. These terms and conditions and the contract of which they form part shall be governed by English law. All references to "the customer" refer to the user applying to place an advertisement the Nursing Homes Registry web site.
All references to "the web site" refers to the nursinghomes.co.uk internet site. All references to "us" refers to Brit-net Internet Marketing Ltd.
The Nursing Homes Registry is operated in the UK by Brit-net Internet Marketing Limited (Company number 03867231) at Unit 2, 3 Station Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire PO11 0EA. You can contact us online via our online contact form.
Advertisers are offered the option of placing an advert either a period of one month or one year from the date of the advert being first made available to the public. The period being purchased will be clearly described in both the advertising package description and during the purchase process.
Adverts will automatically be renewed at the end of the agreed period and payment attempted by our repeat billing service except where one of the following conditions is met:
You notify us of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the end of the current billing period.
You cancel the recurring billing agreement
The terms of this agreement are otherwise breached.
All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
Only one home or business may be featured in each advertisement. The advert copy you supply must be legal, decent, honest and truthful and must comply with all applicable UK and local laws. It is your responsibility to ensure that this is the case. The customer shall be responsible for any losses, expenses or other costs incurred by us caused by an untrue statement or inaccurate photograph supplied by the customer.
In order to meet the technical and production requirements of the web site, Auto Trader reserves the right to edit, amend or alter the copy or photograph supplied by the customer.
In the event that we are unable to accept an advertisement for any reason, we will attempt to inform the customer of this if at all possible. In the event that we reject the advertisement, no charge will be incurred by the customer. No contract will be deemed to exist between the customer and Auto Trader until the advertisement has been accepted for publication on the web site.
The copyright in all adverts (including text and photographs) shall be owned by us and you hereby assign all such copyright to us.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the details of your advert remain accurate and up to date for the duration of your advertising period.
Advertising packages for the listing of UK homes include the ability to adjust and amend your advert. There is no charge for making such amendments.
Where no online editing facility is included in an advertising package, or where changes are required to be made by us on your behalf an additional charge will apply.
Adverts that have been completed and paid for will be made available online within 5 working days.
Cancellations can be made by either calling 023 9246 0000 or by contacting us through the online contact form.
Refunds will only be given where a cancellation is made within 14 days of the advert first being made available online.
Where a refund is given a handling fee of 5% / £2 - whichever is greater will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover card processing fees and administration.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
We will require to carry out routine maintenance and service of 'its' servers and equipment. While we always seek to keep disruption to a minimum, it does not guarantee that the advertisement will be continuously available on-line for the duration of the advert.
Brit-net Internet Marketing's liability for breach of contract or negligence shall not exceed an amount equal to the price of the advert or series of adverts involved, provided that nothing in this clause shall limit Brit-net Internet Marketing's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our service or agents.
English law shall govern the terms and conditions of this contract of which they form a part.
