Kitnocks House lies in a beautiful rural area of Hampshire and provides specialist mental health care and support for up to 63 adult male and female residents within single sex areas who may have mental health or physical health conditions such as Huntingtons or dementia for example some may exhibit behaviours that challenge.
Kitnocks House offers comprehensive and individual care packages which focus on the needs of the residents. These are determined by pre-admission assessment which affords us the opportunity to facilitate good outcomes for both long and short term placements.
Male and female resident have seperate areas but may come together during therapuetic or social activities. All accomadation is single rooms with some having ensuite facilites.
The resident and their family will be involved in all decisions about their care and all efforts made to follow any requests.
We have a team of experienced staff available to wotrk with every resident to acheive their personal goals, these include Psychiatrists, Specialist nurse, Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistants, services of a localG.P. etc.
Activities
An extensive programme which includes skill maintenance, leisure and social activites led by the Occupational Therapist
